Florida Farm to School essay and art entries close November 16
FDACS lists November 16 as the deadline for statewide Farm to School essay and art contests for Florida students.
What the record says
The essay competition is for grades 9–12, while the art competition is for grades 6–8. The October 1 announcement includes public, private, charter, virtual and home-school students. Essay prizes include Florida Investment 529 Plan awards of $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000. The art winner’s work is planned for 2027 campaign materials.
